Urban Logistics REIT has appointed Cherine Aboulzelof as an independent non-executive, effective 1 July.
Aboulzelof is global co-head of BGO Strategic Capital Partners. She was previously managing director at Carlyle Group for four years until 2021 and partner at 90 North Real Estate Partners from 2013 to 2017.
Aboulzelof has 19 years of real estate investment experience and has managed funds, assets and portfolios for several large investment managers. Prior to her real estate career, she spent eight years in investment banking at blue-chip banks.
She is also on the board of the Women in Safe Homes Fund, a for-profit social impact fund providing rental accommodation to vulnerable women and children across the UK, as well as GRI Women Leading Real Estate Advisory Board.
