Homeware retailer Furnolic has expanded its UK base of operations at Prologis Park Ryton in Coventry.
The company has signed a 10-year lease agreement for a second facility on the park, known as DC4.
The 166,748 sq ft building was recently refurbished to lift sustainability standards. The site now has an EPC A rating, its on-site offices are fully electric and it has EV charging points.
It is expected that the new leasing agreement will create more jobs in the local area.
Prologis Park Ryton has access to six motorways within a 14-mile radius. Tenants include Jaguar Land Rover, DHL and LEVC.
Tong Wang, director at Furnolic, said: “Our continued partnership with Prologis in the UK and across Europe is testament to the company’s ongoing commitment to customer service. Our relationship has meant that we’ve been able to grow sustainably in our core target regions.”
Avison Young, JLL and ILP Partners acted for Prologis UK and Realogis acted for Furnolic.
