Simply UK gets thumbs up for 60-bed Uxbridge care home

Care home developer Simply UK has secured planning permission from the London Borough of Hillingdon for a 60-bed care home in Uxbridge.

The ADG Architects-deisgned care home has been planned to ensure functionality, sustainability and seamless integration of the care home into its urban setting, being located opposite Hillingdon Hospital, close to the A40 and with Underground links to central London via the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines.

The care home includes both indoor and outdoor amenity spaces, and will be operated by Simply UK sister company Morar Living. Construction is scheduled to begin imminently, with completion expected by summer 2026.

Thomas Meany, investment manager at Simply UK, said: “This latest development is part of our ongoing strategic growth plan and will be a flagship addition to our UK portfolio. As part of our continued commitment to sustainability, which will see all new homes powered by electricity only, this home will be fuelled via heat pumps and solar panels and will have an EPC A rating.”
