CBRE has hired Cushman & Wakefield’s head of London development to join its development and asset renewal team.
Jeremy Gardner joins CBRE as an executive director, reporting to Zoe Bignell, head of development and asset renewal. He will advise clients on headlease restructuring and other matters.
Gardner spent more than four years at Cushman, where he was an international partner and head of London development. Before that he was head of City development at JLL and earlier in his career was strategic property director at the City of London Corporation.
Bignell said: “In the current environment, clients need to think more intelligently about their assets to realise value. Jeremy’s specific skillset will help our clients unlock cumbersome and complex headlease arrangements, which will in turn lead to opportunities to reposition and renew many assets, helping to bolster the development pipeline and create more vibrancy in our city scape.”
