NPV Leeds has lodged proposals for the redevelopment of Zurich House in Leeds.
The developer is set to turn 23,673 sq ft grade-A office building into 170 build-to-rent flats comprising a mix of studios, one- and two-bedroom homes.
The proposals also include communal amenities, landscaping and a roof garden.
The building, which is currently vacant, sits south of the new entrance to the Leeds train station.
Bankfoot APAM, a joint venture between Catella APAM and Bankfoot Developments, has been appointed as development manager on the project, while AshtonHale is advising on planning matters.
Emily Myers, senior development manager at Bankfoot APAM, said: “This proposal represents a commitment to new homes in Leeds, allowing a broad mix of people to enjoy city living and all Leeds has to offer.”
