Management consultancy Aon has assigned a floor of its 10-floor “Aon Centre” in London’s Leadenhall Building to PR firm Powerscourt.
Powerscourt, which this week rebranded as Sodali & Co, has taken roughly 18,000 sq ft on level 13 of the “Cheesegrater” tower at 122 Leadenhall Street, EC3, from Aon on a 10-year lease. The 110-strong team moves in on Monday (22 July).
The deal almost trebles the firm’s space in the capital. It had been based at 1 Tudor Street, EC4, where it leased about 5,500 sq ft. TPG-backed Morrow Sodali, which bought Powerscourt last year, had a smaller office at 103 Wigmore Street, WC1, which it is also vacating this week.
Rory Godson, Powerscourt founder and senior managing director at Sodali & Co, told EG: “This is a special location: the heart of the City of London and a real sign of intent from our investors TPG. The location has great connectivity and all the social amenities that make London the world’s greatest city and the centre of international commerce. People need to work together to create greatness and these offices will be a magnet for talent.”
Powerscourt has real estate clients including Unite, Bellway and the Howard de Walden Estate.
JLL acted as disposing agent for the Leadenhall Building space.
