Shaftesbury Capital has signed deals with restaurateurs Maguro Group and Alex Xu to expand their footprint in Chinatown, W1.
The Maguro Group will introduce its Korean street food brand, Bunsik, at 31 Wardour Street, while Alex Xu has opened Kung Fu Burger at 104 Shaftesbury Avenue, marking his fourth venture in London.
Bunsik’s new outlet, opening in September, marks the group’s second location within the area.
Kung Fu Burger, operating from a 100 sq ft kiosk, is Alex Xu’s fourth brand to arrive in Chinatown. His other brands in Chinatown include bubble tea brand Happy Lemon and Taiwanese dessert parlour Meet Fresh.
Earlier this year, restaurant group YiQi launched its latest Chinatown venture, SanHao, occupying 3,000 sq ft space at 3 Gerrard Street.
