Trebor Developments and Hillwood have bought a 20-acre site in Raunds, Northamptonshire, for a £50m industrial development.
The scheme was acquired from Aequitas Estates in an off-market deal.
The plans for the site, which were given the go ahead in 2020, include four mid-box units, ranging in size from 10,650 sq ft to 117,050 sq ft. All four units will be built on a speculative basis, with work starting next month. Completion is scheduled for Q4 2025.
Trebor development director Greg Dalton said the business had a long held an interest in acquiring the Quattro Raunds site.
He said: “It sits well within our strategy to expand along the A14/A45 and, with the benefit of detailed planning consent, allows us to deliver the scheme within 2025 to satisfy occupier demands.”
Bidwell advised Trebor and Hillwood on the deal; M1 Agency acted for Aequitas. Both have been retained as joint letting agents.
