Tritax Symmetry has got the go ahead for Symmerty Park Gloucester, a 67-acre site at junction 12 of the M5.
Stroud District Council has approved a hybrid planning application for 1.1m sq ft of development, comprising detailed consent for two buildings of 163,500 sq ft and 241,000 sq ft, with outline permission for a further 700,000 sq ft of build-to-suit opportunities.
The AJA Architects-designed project is expected to create 1,200 new jobs in operation and generate £62m of GVA per annum.
Jonathan Dawes, head of planning at Tritax Symmetry, said the consent paved the way for further growth and investment in the wider Gloucester area.
Colliers and BNP Paribas Real Estate have been appointed as joint letting agents for the scheme.
