Richborough hires from Taylor Wimpey for eastern expansion

Birmingham-based strategic land promoter Richborough has appointed Andrew Meikle as regional manager for the east.

The appointment comes as the firm looks to grow its operations across the region over the next 18 months. It currently stretches across the East Midlands, Northants and Cambridgeshire and has a portfolio of 33 live sites able to deliver more than 5,500 new homes, subject to planning.

In his new role, Meikle will work alongside Briony Stenhouse, land and planning manager for the east, and Anabel Christmas, regional director for the east.

Meikle joins from Taylor Wimpey where he worked on land appraisals and acquisitions. He has been with the housebuilder for six years, most recently as senior land manager.

Christmas said: “Andrew’s proven track record in delivering complex projects and his understanding of land appraisals from the housebuilder perspective make him a valuable addition to our team.”

Meikle added: “Richborough has consolidated its commitment to excellence over recent years and I’m looking forward to contributing to the continued success in the east region.”
