Jansons bags Thames Valley business parks for £100m redevelopment

Jansons Property has bought two business parks in the Thames Valley for a £100m redevelopment project.

The parks, the 142,610 sq ft Kingsmead Business Park in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, and the 86,398 sq ft Boulevard in Bracknell, Berkshire, will be redeveloped to create 300,000 sq ft of prime industrial space.

Janson bought the eight-acre Boulevard site from computer company Dell EMC in June for £10m. The office was Dell’s EMEA HQ. Cushman & Wakefield was appointed to sell the property in 2022 following Dell’s acquisition of EMC Squared and the relocation of its staff to its offices at Great Western Road in Berkshire.

The 7.5-acre Kingsmead site has been acquired from LaSalle, which paid around £40m for the property in 2015.

Andy Jansons, managing director at Jansons Property, said: “These acquisitions perfectly align with our strategy to transform underperforming office sites into thriving industrial spaces.

“As businesses in the South East seek to expand, we are continuing to see strong demand for prime industrial stock and are proud to be at the forefront of meeting this demand, with the associated social and economic benefits.”
