Blue Coast plans 220-bed co-living scheme in Tower Hamlets

Blue Coast Capital has launched initial plans for a 220-bed co-living scheme on Fleet Street Hill, E1.

The company has filed an environmental impact assessment with the London Borough of Tower Hamlets for a co-living led site with 30 affordable homes.

The 0.8-acre site is located at the site of a former viaduct along Pedley Street constructed between 1836 and 1840. It formed part of the Eastern Counties Railway line into Shoreditch High Street.

Blue Coast Capital’s proposal includes developing two buildings on the site, one of 12 storeys, the other part 11 and part 12 storeys.

The scheme also proposes amenities such as multifunctional shared spaces, co-working spaces and a co-living lounge.
