Plans for 568-home Salford co-living scheme approved

Salford City Council has approved proposals for the first co-living tower in the Greengate area of Greater Manchester.

The decision was made in line with the planning officer’s recommendation last week.

The scheme, to be delivered by local developer Progressive Living, will provide 568 studios alongside communal amenity spaces, including a landscaped roof terrace at level 38.

Rising to a maximum of 42 storeys, the BDP-designed development will occupy a car park site between an existing residential development and a railway viaduct.

Turley is advising on planning matters.
