Zephyr X has lodged plans with Manchester City Council for a £70m build-to-rent tower.
The vision for the scheme was first revealed late last year, with the submitted final proposals worked up following a public consultation.
The 23-storey building, designed by Hawkins\Brown, will be situated on the corner of Carnarvon Street and Cheetham Hill Road in the city centre and include 237 one- and two-bedroom flats alongside ground-floor commercial space.
The tower is expected to complement the cluster of new schemes emerging around the Great Ducie Street, Green Quarter and Red Bank area.
Graham Haydon-White, managing director at Zephyr X, said: “Our proposals offer an opportunity to support the ongoing regeneration of this corner of Manchester and to help meet the established demand for high-quality accommodation in the city centre.”
“Being just a 10-minute walk from Victoria station, with easy accessibility to additional public transport, this is a sustainable location for our new build-to-rent development.”
