Peel flexes MediaCity office with £1.2m revamp

Peel Land and Property has refurbished a floor in MediaCity’s Orange tower, Greater Manchester, in the hope of attracting flex occupiers.

The developer invested £1.2m to create a 16,040 sq ft fully fitted office space on the 10th floor of the building. The workspace could accommodate up to 180 employees.

The revamp, designed by architects Chapman Taylor, features two boardrooms, six group meeting rooms, eight one-to-one areas as well as collaboration zones.

Stephen Kirk, head of asset management at MediaCity, said: “This major investment has delivered a sustainable office space which is unrivalled in terms of size and scale in the North West and beyond. This location would appeal to any organisation wanting to base their team within a destination which offers facilities and access to creative, tech and digital talent.”

Other occupiers at MediaCity include ITV, Kellogg’s, law firm Horwich Farrelly and the University of Salford.
