Carter Jonas has added a duo of partners in its Leeds office as the firm continues to expand its national footprint.
Mathew Atkinson (pictured above, right) and Richard Harris (left) both bring more than 20 years of experience and a proven track record in the Yorkshire property market, joining from JLL. The duo are expected to help the consultancy to develop its industrial and logistics proposition in the North.
Atkinson, who previously led JLL’s capital markets team in Leeds, has expertise in investment sales, acquisitions and development funding, while Harris, who led JLL’s industrial and logistics team in Leeds and headed its sector offering for the North, specialises in development and the big box logistics sector.
Both Atkinson and Harris have worked with developer and investor clients, including Aviva, Abrdn, Legal & General, Prologis, GLP, Mountpark, Panattoni, Caddick Group, Evans Property Group and Marshall CDP.
Scott Harkness, head of commercial at Carter Jonas, said: “We continue to expand and strengthen our national expertise and presence in core regional property markets.
“Having launched our first Manchester office in May this year, as part of our expansion strategy in the North, Mathew and Richard’s in-depth knowledge and achievements complement those of our existing teams and will elevate our service offerings, reinforcing our status as a go-to property consultancy for clients seeking expert advice and unparalleled market insights.”
