Food packaging firm Tetra Pak has appointed Arup and Knight Frank as project management partners to review and advise on its global real estate portfolio over the next three years.
The pair bring together a team of built environment professionals to deliver a “rigorous” programme to manage the packaging giant’s estate.
The team will manage capital projects across warehousing, industrial buildings and infrastructure, as well as a range of sustainability-related projects and real estate transactions and lease management.
Tetra Pak’s portfolio comprises some 100 sales offices, 51 production plants, six R&D centres, seven customer innovation centres and eight training centres in 160 countries around the world
Duncan White, Europe advisory services leader at Arup, said: “This framework is an opportunity for us to draw upon our deep domain expertise in built environment design and advisory services, working with Tetra Pak and Knight Frank to create more sustainable and efficient manufacturing, logistics facilities and offices.”
