The Association of Town & City Management has appointed Blackstar Real Estate to advise on structural changes in town centres.
The asset management firm, which launched in August, will collaborate with property owners, investors, and local authorities.
Blackstar specialises in retail, along with insight into food & beverage, co-living, healthcare, community spaces and public realm.
Ojay McDonald, chief executive officer at ATCM, said: “It has long been our desire to see those who manage buildings in town centres work hand-in-glove with those who manage the spaces between buildings to end fragmentation. Blackstar joining ATCM is a huge step forward.”
“Blackstar understands the ultimate goal of ensuring place management and property interests are round the same table working to the same vision.”
