Greencore appoints director to lead net zero homes delivery

Greencore Homes has appointed Oliver Luard as a partnerships and investment director.

Luard will spearhead Greencore’s land, partnerships and investment strategy as the developer and housebuilder seeks out new opportunities and strong long-term partnerships that support its mission to build 10,000 net zero carbon homes in the next decade.

Luard joins from Vistry, where he was land and development director with a focus on multi-tenure partnership-led developments. He has more than 16 years of experience working across the South East and Midlands residential property markets.

Before that, Luard was a land and development director at Countryside, and a divisional land director at McCarthy & Stone.

Luard’s appointment follows a £30m capital investment from M&G’s Catalyst fund earlier this year, after its initial £15m investment into the company in 2022.

Jon Di Stefano, chief executive at Greencore Homes, said: “During an exciting period of growth, I am delighted that we are building momentum towards our target of delivering 10,000 of our better than net zero homes by 2035. With the addition of Oliver’s expertise in land-led partnerships and multi-tenure development, we are confident that our development pipeline will keep growing, enabling us to deliver many more of our low carbon, energy efficient homes.”
