Teddy Sagi’s Labs exits Bloomsbury office

Labs, Teddy Sagi’s co-working company, has officially exited its site at Victoria House in Bloomsbury, WC1, the next step in paving the way for a life sciences-led redevelopment of the Grade II listed block.

Sagi’s LabTech sold the building to Oxford Properties in a £430m deal in 2022. Oxford Properties has worked with Pioneer Group to develop lab-enabled workspace in the building , which it has been leasing since.

In a social media post, Labs managing director Matt Watts said today (29 November) marked “the end of an era for Labs as we close our doors at Victoria House for the final time”. He described the site as one of “just a handful of buildings that evoke such fond memories”.

“From small offices to expansive spaces spanning over 20,000 sq ft for organisations of thousands of people, we catered to an incredible range of needs,” he said. “We pioneered ‘just-in-time’ offices, staying adaptable to the wishes and requirements of our clients, always keeping the occupier at the heart of our approach. The result? A visually stunning space that excelled in the modern standards of wellbeing and sustainability that many enjoyed.”
