Pioneer’s asset management boss heads to Longfellow

Longfellow Real Estate has strengthened its team in the UK with the appointment of James Evans as operations director. Evans brings with him years of asset management, due diligence and M&A experience. He was previously head of asset management at Pioneer Group, focusing on building innovation ecosystems for life sciences businesses. Prior to that, Evans was a director at Trinity Investment Management for more than seven years. The move comes ahead of buildings in Longfellow’s CamLife development becoming operational from the middle of next year, providing 170,000 sq ft of lab and office space. The US-headquartered investor entered the UK in June 2022 through the purchase of the 42-acre Capital Park life sciences and innovation campus in Cambridge, which it rebranded in October last year.
