Danum Homes has acquired a £50m site in Market Weighton in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
The 19-acre site has outline planning consent to provide 120 homes, of which 25% will be affordable. The consent also includes a food shop and commercial, employment and community space, as well as new green space.
Land promotion company Richborough sold the site on behalf of a private landowner.
Steve Mosby, managing director at Danum, said: “We are always actively looking for new opportunities to complement our existing pipeline… We look forward to progressing this development and delivering high-quality, sustainable homes for the East Riding of Yorkshire. This purchase has cemented our working relationship with Richborough and we are looking forward to doing many more deals together in the future.”
