Derwent hires from Endurance Land for Baker Street scheme

Derwent London has appointed James Humber as senior development manager to oversee the delivery of 50 Baker Street, W1

Derwent bought Lazari Investments’s share of the Baker Street scheme in December, having received planning permission for the 240,000 sq ft office-led scheme – almost double the existing floor area – in August.

Humber has most recently served as development manager at Endurance Land, focusing on 99 City Road, EC1, known as Tech City tower. Designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox, the 700,000 sq ft building rises to 35 storeys and acts as an innovation hub, with Inmarsat secured as a core tenant.

Prior to that, Humber was involved in the regeneration of Kings Cross, N1, as part of his role at Argent.
