Liverpool John Moores University has appointed CBRE to find a new owner for the 20-acre former IM Marsh campus in Aigburth.
Offers are sought by the end of May on either an unconditional or subject-to-planning basis.
The development site is situated off Barkhill Road in the southern part of the city and contains a range of buildings, including two with Grade II listed status, totalling 213,000 sq ft.
Kieran McLaughlin, senior director for UK development and residential at CBRE, said: “The university vacated the site a number of years ago with no teaching or other student-facing activity at IM Marsh since 2020.
“The release of the IM Marsh site will allow the university to invest further in developing student-facing services, specialist facilities and the continued maintenance of an extensive campus portfolio in the city centre.”
