Railpen has hired Parminder Singh to lead the delivery of its property developments across the UK, with a particular focus on the portfolio in Cambridge and London.
Singh joins from Nan Fung Life Sciences Real Estate, where he most recently served as head of development in the UK. Prior to that, he has worked for Lendlease, Temasek and Mapletree Investments.
The move comes shortly after Railpen appointed Emma Goodford to head life sciences and innovation leasing across its Cambridge-Oxford portfolio. The duo will work together to deliver the innovation cluster, creating an ecosystem of high-quality assets in the market.
Matthew Howard, head of property at Railpen, said: “[Singh’s] depth of experience, track record and commercial acumen will ensure we go beyond even our own expectations, creating places that help occupiers thrive, generate secure long-term returns for our members, and support the UK’s wider economic and social growth.”
