Savills adds data centre specialist to London team

Savills has appointed Marc Edmondson as a director at the firm’s head office in London.

Edmondson joins from Rider Levett Bucknall, where he was a partner. He brings more than 25 years’ experience in the design, construction and project management of data centres in the UK and EMEA.

At Savills, Edmondson will form a part of project management team, which sits within Savills’ building and project consultancy arm. He will lead the firm’s data centre project management team, working with the consultancy’s wider data centre team, ranging from planning to capital advisory, in the UK and EMEA.

Simon Collett, executive director and head of building and project consultancy at Savills, said: “The data centre market is predicted to see expansion and with Marc’s focus and first-class pedigree in the sector, we will further increase our capability to service our clients moving forward.”
