Savills appoints director for national retail team

Savills has expanded its national retail team with the appointment of Nicole de Blaquière as a director, based at firm’s London headquarters.

De Blaquière joins with extensive experience in client-focused roles, having previously worked at retail consultancy Green & Partners and, before that, six years at Cushman & Wakefield.

Throughout her career, she has advised a broad range of high-profile landlords and delivered strategic consultancy for retailers.

In her new position at Savills, de Blaquière will work with both landlords and occupiers, with a particular emphasis on shopping centre mandates.

Alan Spencer, head of UK retail at Savills, said: “Her [de Blaquière’s] impressive track record in retail consultancy and deep understanding of landlord needs, specifically her work with shopping centres, strengthens our ability to deliver strategic value to our clients amidst an evolving retail landscape.”

De Blaquière said: “There’s a real opportunity to help landlords adapt, reposition assets, and unlock long-term value. We’re also seeing the emergence of some highly acquisitive and exciting brands. I look forward to working with the team and offering expert guidance to both new and existing clients.”
