Colliers has expanded its UK retail team with three new appointments, boosting its capabilities in retail leasing and advisory nationwide.
Cal Robinson, Angus McMillen and Adam Hockley bring a collective 18 years of experience in the retail sector.
Robinson rejoins Colliers’ Leeds office as an associate director, returning to the team where he began his career. With 10 years’ experience in the retail sector, Robinson has been a chartered surveyor since 2017 and specialises in agency, acquisitions and disposals.
At Colliers, he will lead on national leasing, focusing on acquisitions for clients such as EG On the Move, Screwfix and Sainsbury’s.
In London, McMillen has joined as a senior surveyor in the national leasing team. He brings four years of experience from LSH and qualified as a chartered surveyor in 2023.
McMillen will support both landlord and occupier clients, working with brands including Landsec, Oliver Bonas, Santander, Invesco, Bupa and Aberdeen.
Also based in London, Hockley joins the retail lease advisory team as a senior surveyor. He began his career at CWM in 2021, with subsequent experience at Pret A Manger and CBRE.
Now a qualified surveyor for 18 months, Hockley brings four years of expertise in lease advisory and asset management and will focus on advising landlord and occupier clients in the retail and F&B sectors across London and major regional high streets.
Dan Simms, co-head of UK retail at Colliers, said: “In 2024 we completed over 1,400 deals for our clients and their expertise and experience will be invaluable as we continue to build our retail agency and lease advisory capabilities.
“These strategic hires reinforce our commitment to the retail sector and addressing the evolving needs of the sector and enhancing client support across the UK.”
