Hill Samuel invests £4m in three retail properties
Hill Samuel Property Unit Trust has bought three shops for £4m at a net initial yield of 7.29% from Zeneca Pension Scheme.
The properties are:
- 297 High Street, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, let to Richard Shops for 30 years from 1979 at £106,500 pa subject to five-yearly rent reviews;
- 32/36 South Street, Worthing, West Sussex, let to Mothercare UK for 25 years from 1987 at £93,000 pa with five-yearly rent reviews;
- 131/133 Armada Way, Plymouth, Devon, let to Currys Group for 20 years from 1987 at a £110,000 pa with five-yearly rent reviews.
Hill Samuel Property Services and Hammond Phillips acted for the Trust and Jones Lang Wootton acted for Zeneca.
