Short Brothers has removed the “for sale” sign from Belfast City airport. The aircraft maker is to invest £7m in the upgrade of the airport’s facilities. An unsolicited £24.8m offer was made last year by property company Sarcon Diamond and accepted – but it was withdrawn shortly before the transfer of ownership.
