The Wales Labour Party has revealed proposals to modernise the role of the Welsh Development Agency, creating an “economic powerhouse” that would speed up economic development.
The feasibility of bringing industrial grants and economic planning into one department would also be examined in a review of the Welsh Office’s industry department.
