BT takes offices in Bristol – and looks for more

In Bristol’s biggest office letting of the year so far, BT has taken 2,323 sq m (25,000 sq ft) in Chelsfields’s Whitefriars building on Lewins Mead, central Bristol. But the deal could soon be eclipsed: BT is rumoured to have drawn up a shortlist of three Bristol sites for a 13,935 sq m (150,000 sq ft) requirement

Castlemore Securities’ Quay Point site at Temple Meads is rumoured to be BT’s preferred option, but the Harbourside site next to Lloyds Bank’s HQ and an out-of-town site in North Bristol are also in the running.

King Sturge and Osmond Tricks are letting agents and Alder King acted for BT.
