Levi Strauss to set up new HQ at Swan Valley

Levi Strauss UK has submitted a planning application to Northampton Council for a distribution and headquarters complex totalling 16,500sq m (177,610sq ft) at Swan Valley Distribution Park, Northampton.

The company has acquired a 4.85ha (12 acre) freehold site on the park for the development from Swan Hill and Norwich Union for an undisclosed sum. Levi will relocate from Moulton Park, Northampton, to its new home in about three years.

The distribution director of Levi Strauss, Stuart Buckley, said the fact that the new HQ would be one minute from Junction 15a of the M1 was an important factor in the choice of this location. The development will be located to the west of Swan Valley Way, close to the first development on the 84.98 ha (210 acre) park for Wells Soft Drinks.

Joint agents for Swan Valley are Fuller Peiser and King Sturge.
