A 446 sq m (4,800 sq ft) expansion in floor space helped lift full-year pre-tax profits at Harvey Nichols, the department store group, to £9.2m up from £6m. The group plans to open the first of several stand-alone restaurants at the Oxo Tower Wharf, on London’s South Bank in September and a second store in Leeds, in October. It will then considering shops in Glasgow, Newcastle or Manchester.
