Castlemore Securities is set to submit a planning application for a 17,187 sq m (185,000 sq ft) leisure scheme at Cleppa Park, close to Jctn 28 of the M4 in Newport, South Wales.
The development will be anchored by a 4,645 sq m (50,000 sq ft), 12-screen multiplex cinema. It is understood terms have been agreed with Odeon Cinemas. In addition, there will be a 10-pin bowling alley, family entertainment centre, health club, and a number of restaurants and theme pubs.
Richard Ingham, of letting agent Harvey Spack Field, said: “there was strong interest in a variety of units from major leisure companies.”
Castlemore originally bought the site from the Welsh Development Agency and Newport Council.
