The Welsh Office is attempting to play down the £200m package which helped to lure South Korean LG to Newport, South Wales, for a record £1.7bn plant investment, announced yesterday.
Other regions in the UK have complained that they are at a disadvantage in competition. Meanwhile, Wales is celebrating its victory.
