Grosvenor Square Properties’ Grosvenor Waterside has secured its first major prelet at Scott Harbour, the Capital Waterside scheme on Cardiff Bay, Wales.
Cardiff solicitor Howard Palser Grossman Hermer & Partners has taken a 25-year lease on the 1,749 sq m (18,826 sq ft) Discovery House at an undisclosed rent.
The 9,000 sq m (110,000 sq ft) Scott Harbour is due for completion in 1997. Letting agents for the scheme are Cooke & Arkwright and DTZ Debenham Thorpe.
- In a separate development, reclamation work has started on 20.23 ha (50 acres) at the Waterfront scheme in Barry. The site totals 76ha (200 acre) and has planning consent for mixed uses. Joint venture partners GSP and the Welsh Development Agency are proposing to use 4.4ha (10.88 acres) for B1; 23.7ha (58.6 acres) for residential; and 11.6ha (28.9 acres) for leisure.
