Doncaster-based furniture maker and retailer DFS plans to more than double its network of stores following its recent expansion into the south-east.
The chain is expecting to open a further eight stores this year. The final cost will depend on the number of leasehold or freehold sites acquired.
The family of Sir Graham Kirkham, chairman and founder, yesterday raised £112m by selling a 20% stake in the company.
