Aquis Estates and Royal London Asset Management are close to securing two separate lettings totalling 7,432 sq m (80,000 sq ft) at Relay Park in Tamworth, Staffordshire.
Eagle Picher Hillsdale is about to sign up for the 2,323 sq m (25,000 sq ft) FTP Europe unit. FTP is relocating to Spain and assigning the remainder of its lease at £43 per sq m (£4 per sq ft). Royal London Asset Management bought the unit from Aquis Estates last year.
In a separate deal a North American company is tipped to take 5,110 sq m (55,000 sq ft) for its first unit in the UK. The company is close to signing a 15-year lease at £48 per sq m (£4.50 per sq ft).
Aquis bought the 22.25ha (55 acre) Relay Park three years ago for more than £7m, but sold off 12.1 ha (30 acres) to Safeway. Now the developer is looking to sell the Park as part of its disposal programme.
