Three substantial Co-op stores in the south-west have been sold to large superstore chains in the last fortnight.
Sainsbury has bought two Plymco stores from the Plymouth and South Devon Co-operative Society. Asda has acquired the Havant Hypermarket last Monday from the Portsea Island Co-operative Society.
