Tesco opened its first store in Belfast last week, a month before Sainsbury is due to open in the province.
The Belfast Tesco Metro provides 1,198 sq m (12,900 sq ft). Tesco plans further expansion in Northern Ireland over the coming year with one store in East Belfast and the other in Lisburn, Co. Antrim.
