National Parking Corporation (NCP) is planning new car parks before the end of the financial year. It hopes to lift its 12% market share through the purchase of council and local authority car parks. It is preparing for a full stock market listing within two years.
It is to spend £7.5m improving its Leeds-based control centre for its Green Flag business which operates breakdown services for motorists.
NCP announced pre-tax profits for the six months to October down from £21m to £20.7m. It has more than 520 car parks under the NCP brand in the UK.
