Manufacturing company Stadco has shortlisted two sites for a huge new factory in the south west.
It is looking at 7ha (15 acres) at Arlington’s 113ha (280 acre) site at Brockworth, east of Gloucester on the M5. The land is being marketed by Strutt & Parker and Alder King.
The company is also considering a site in Tewkesbury, owned by local developer Robert Hitchins.
Stadco, which is believed to have tied up a deal to supply body panels to Honda, will build a 76,200 sq m (250,000 sq ft) factory on the chosen site. It is being advised by Gerald Eve and a decision is expected by the end of the month.
