Dyson plans to triple the size of its factory in Malmesbury, Wiltshire. It is spending £10m on the scheme. The company wants to expand from vacuum cleaners into washing machine manufacturing. It has bought an option on 24.28ha (60 acres) outside the town to expand further in the new millennium.
