British Telecom is buying a site at Crest Nicholson’s Bristol Parkway North for a regional call centre.
BT will put up a 12,077 sq m (130,000 sq ft) building on a 3.64 ha (9 acre) site if it wins planning consent from South Gloucestershire Council. The deal is based on a price of about £852,483 per ha (£345,000 per acre).
The call centre will be one of a string across the country which will sell BT products. The company met this week to firm up other locations, likely to include Glasgow, Gateshead and Doncaster.
Hartnell Taylor Cook and Alder King represented Crest Nicholson while Chesterton advised BT.
