International law firm Masons has taken a prelet of three floors in Gregory Properties’ Springfield House, in Leeds.
Masons has agreed to occupy 1,626 sq m (17,500 sq ft) on a 20-year lease without breaks at £180.30 per sq m (£16.75 per sq ft).The company will also pay £1,500 pa for each of 12 car parking spaces at the site.
Gregory Properties’ development manager Richard Tovey said: “Masons have reaffirmed our confidence in this project and the letting represents 50% of the floor area, enabling us to kick-start the development.”
Springfield House is being built on the former National Express Coach Station site on Wellington Street, Leeds. Completion is set for April 1998. Lambert Smith Hampton and Dunlop Heywood are the letting agents.
