Liverpool Victoria Friendly Society has taken back Roland Cartier’s lease on a retail unit at 179 Oxford Street, W1, and re-let it to New Look at a record rent for the area.
New Look are understood to be taking three floors totalling 942 sqm (10,141 sq ft) in the 1,904 sq m (20,500 sq ft) building at a rent of over £300 zone A .
The previous best rent for the east end of Oxford Street – in the area around Marks & Spencer’s Pantheon store – is £260 zone A paid by La Senza.
