Plans by Norwegian engineering giant to build London’s tallest building, the Millennium Tower, look likely to be rejected by City planners.
But Kvaerner will contest the decision armed with the knowledge, confirmed by City agents, that Midland Bank could sign up for half the 130,060 sq m (1.4m sq ft) complex if it were to go ahead.
