NM Rothschild has signed a 8,546 sq m (92,000 sq ft) pre-let on Royal Sun Alliance’s 1 King William Street development, EC4.
Rothschild is thought to have committed to a 20 year term at a rent of around (£37.50 per sq ft). However, there will be a review upon practical completion in January 1998 and a rent free period of around 18 months is also rumoured.
Sun Alliance’s development is behind a Grade II listed facade at No. 1 King William Street and is near Rothschild’s offices at 7-9 St Swithin’s Lane where it occupies the entire 3,716 sq m (40,000 sq ft).
