Capital & Regional buys rest of Lanham for £4.3m

Capital & Regional Properties has paid £4.3m for 75% of private retail andleisure property company Lanham that it did not already own. Lanham specialises in out of town retail investments, retail warehouses and leisure property development. Lanham’s chief executive, Andrew Lewis-Pratt, becomes an executive director at Capital.

Capital is also buying out minority shareholdings in two of its subsidiaries, which hold shopping centres in Aberdeen and Newcastle and St Andrews House in Glasgow. The vendor, Kenneth Ford, becomes an executive director of the group. Joining the board as a non-executive is David Cherry, senior partner of estate agents Donaldsons.
